Bringing "The Reader" To Book Club!

As an informal member of a couple books clubs (i.e. as the person people call when they haven't finished the book, the book club's in ten minutes and they need to know what happened) I love answering YOUR questions about a book!

It’s easy! Simply email cantstopreading@gmail.com with the following info:

Your name
Your book club's name
Your book's title and author
Very Important- the date your book club will be discussing this read
andYour questions*

Here’s how it works from there:

Scenario #1: The Reader, who has a ridiculous amount lots of books, already owns your book! Yay! She then posts the answers to you questions in a blog at least two days before your book club meets.

Scenario #2: The Reader, despite her ridiculous awesomely huge collection of books, does not own or has not read your pick. Off to the bookstore we go! If your book can be purchased for under $10, you’re likely in luck and the answers to your questions will be posted in a blog, again, no later than two days before your book club.

Scenario #3: You’ve picked a great book, but sadly, The Reader does not own it and it costs a little too much for The Reader to buy right now (and she hasn’t been able to find a borrowable copy elsewhere).
or
You’ve picked a great book, but unfortunately there’s just not enough time for The Reader to read and review it before your book club. (Alas, The Reader must maintain a full-time job, volunteer work, and family life in between books!)

In the last scenario, The Reader will feel very, very bad but will not be able to answer your questions. However, she'll post a blog about your book anyway asking other readers to comment on your questions.

Please email cantstopreading@gmail.com if you need more info or to submit your Book Club request!

*While you are free to ask The Reader as many questions as you’d like, she reserves the right to answer only some of them as time allows. The Reader highly recommends that you note any questions you ABSOLUTEY want answered. Personal questions are also allowed, but again, The Reader reserves the right not to answer them!
